You’ve not only begun the salvation process, but you have been brought into a new kingdom. A kingdom is a way of thought and lifestyle set by a king. You used to belong to the kingdom of this world, which is ruled by Satan. But you’ve been brought into the kingdom of God, which is ruled by Jesus. In order to stay in his kingdom you must continue to meet the conditions mentioned before. If not, you’ll revert back to the kingdom of Satan. So it’s extremely imperative to continue to obey Jesus.

Obedience is impossible without power.

You can’t follow God without the help of his Spirit. If you have believed, confessed and repented, and begun to follow Jesus, God’s has placed his Holy Spirit within you to give you power to obey him. Humility and submission to God’s Spirit is the key to his power working through you to abstain from sin and obey his commands.

The church, which is the universal group of believers and followers of Jesus are here to fellowship, encourage and teach you along with the Holy Spirit. But learn to trust God and the Bible above anything else. And know that the Holy Spirit will always agree with the Bible. You will learn to rely on God for everything in life.

Prayer is talking to Jesus. So just call on Jesus and start talking to him about your life today and hear from him through his written, divine word: the Bible. As long as you believe the Bible and obey it, you will be saved and in the end, go to Heaven.
