To sum it all up, we be­lieve in holi­ness. We be­lieve it’s something we should want for our lives and it’s achiev­able through God’s grace and Holy Spirit. However, holiness is not what we say it is but what God says it is.

If you be­lieve we can be holy and live right­eous lives; and it’s your de­sire to be con­formed to the im­age of Je­sus Christ, we’re in agree­ment.

The fol­low­ing in­form­a­tion is what we be­lieve in great­er de­tail. Please re­view it and if you don’t un­der­stand or have any ques­tions about it, please con­tact us.

1. Our Fo­cus

Our main fo­cus is to please God and be con­formed to the im­age of Je­sus Christ. Our fo­cus is the King­dom of God and his right­eous­ness. We be­lieve this starts with self-deni­al to fol­low Christ (Matt 6:33; Matt 16:24).

We be­lieve without faith, it’s im­possible to please God. We be­lieve faith leads to obed­i­ence and good works, but it’s not the good works that saves us, it is obed­i­ence to and faith in Je­sus Christ that saves us (Heb 11:6,8; Eph 2:8-10).

We must strive for per­fec­tion, pur­ity (ma­tur­ity in Christ), be­cause Christ is com­ing back for “a bride without spot or blem­ish.” With the Holy Spir­it’s help, she (us, the church) will made her­self ready for Christ (Eph 5:26-27; Rev 19:7).

2. Love

We love each oth­er ac­cord­ing to the bible’s view of love and not the world’s view of love (1 Cor 13:4-7). We love Je­sus by keep­ing his com­mand­ments — this is what he con­siders love. (John 14:15) We are to love every­one and hate their sin. We are not to hate oth­er hu­man be­ings (Rom 12:9; Ps 97:10).

3. The Church

We be­lieve that there is a false church and a true church. The false church is the col­lec­tion of people who don’t de­sire holi­ness and the king­dom of God, but rather world­li­ness and their sin­ful pleas­ures. The true church is the con­trary (2 Cor 11:3-4; 2 Tim 3:5; Rev 17:4-5).

We be­lieve that the church is the col­lec­tion of be­liev­ers who have been born again and is also known as “the body of Christ.” We do not be­lieve that a single in­di­vidu­al is the church (1 Cor 12:27; Col 1:18.24).

The churches mis­sion is to go out, preach the gos­pel of sal­va­tion and dis­ciple those who want to fol­low Christ (Matt 28:19).

We be­lieve in the 9 gifts that are dis­trib­uted from the Holy Spir­it (1 Cor 12:9-10), the 5 ad­min­is­tra­tions that are dis­trib­uted from the Lord Je­sus (Eph 4:11) and the 7 op­er­a­tions that are dis­trib­uted from God the Fath­er (Ro­mans 12:6-8), all of which ori­gin­ate from the same God (1 Cor 12:4-6, Rom 11:29).

We be­lieve that those who are called to lead (Rom 12:8) are to be ser­vants to Je­sus Christ and to the people, and that we are to fol­low their ex­ample, but ONLY as they fol­low Je­sus’ ex­ample (Matt 20:25-28; 1 Cor 11:1 KJV).

Fast­ing, fel­low­ship, praise, pray­er and bible study are es­sen­tial to spir­itu­al growth (Matt 17:19,21; Heb 10:23-25; Ps 150:6; Matt 6:9-15; Ps 1:2).

4. Sin

All sin is wrong. If we keep on sin­ning we will not in­her­it the king­dom of God. It’s our goal to over­come sin through the power of the Holy Spir­it (1 Cor 6:9-10; Rom 6:1-2, 23; James 4:17; Gal 5:16-18; 22-23).

We be­lieve that Je­sus died for the sins of the whole world and the only means of be­ing cleansed from sin is through re­pent­ance, con­fes­sion, and faith in Je­sus Christ (John 3:16, 1 John 1:7-9; Eph 1:6-7; Heb 9: 22).

5. The Holy Spir­it

Without the Holy Spir­it of God, no man can come to Je­sus nor do they be­long to the Fath­er in heav­en. All men need the help of the Holy Spir­it in or­der to un­der­stand spir­itu­al things and to enter in­to heav­en (John 3:5-7; 1 Cor 2:14; 1 Cor 6:9-11; 2 Thess 2:13, Rom 8:9,16).

We be­lieve in the in­dwell­ing, the filling, and the bap­tism of the Holy Spir­it (Luke 3:15-18; Acts 1:5-6; Acts 2:4; John 14:16- 17; Rom 8:9).

We be­lieve only the Holy Spir­it en­ables us to live a holy life by yield­ing and let­ting him work in and through us (2 Thess 2:13; Rom 8:6-14; Rom 12:2; Gal 5:16; John 15:5).

We are not un­der the law, but un­der the grace of God. We be­lieve leg­al­ism is a sin, so we must be led by the Holy Spir­it. Now, while the Holy Spir­it will lead us to do good works, it is not the works that save us, it is our faith (obed­i­ence) in Je­sus Christ (Rom 6:14; Gal 5:18; Tit­us 2:11-12 NIV; Eph 2:8-10; Gal 5:22-23).

6. God & his Word

We be­lieve the bible is in­spired by God and is in­fal­lible . The bible is the stand­ard we come from (2 Tim 3:16; Pro­verbs 30:5).

God speaks in vari­ous ways: through men, dreams, situ­ations, aud­ibly, from in­side our minds and through his Holy Scrip­tures (Hab 2:1-2; 1 Kings 19:12; Acts 2:1-4).

7. Deity & the Trin­ity

There is one God etern­ally ex­ist­ent in three per­sons: God the Fath­er, God the Son, and God the Holy Spir­it. (1 John 5:7 KJV; 1 Cor. 12:4-6; Matt. 28:19)

We be­lieve in the deity of the Lord Je­sus Christ, in His vir­gin birth, in His sin­less life, in His bod­ily re­sur­rec­tion, in His as­cen­sion to the right hand of the Fath­er, and in His per­son­al fu­ture re­turn to this earth in power and glory to rule over the na­tions.

8. Demons & Hell

Demons are real. Demons in­hab­it and in­flu­ence those who con­tin­ue to yield to sin. We have been giv­en the power to dis­cern them, and, by the will of God, cast them out of those who want to be free (Eph 6:12; Luke 10:19; James 4:7).

We be­lieve in the re­sur­rec­tion of both, the saved and the lost, the one to ever­last­ing life and the oth­er to ever­last­ing dam­na­tion (Matt 25:31-34, 41, 46).

5 Things We Don’t Be­lieve

1. “We can jus­ti­fy ourselves with good works”

Some men be­lieve they can jus­ti­fy them­selves be­fore God by go­ing to church, giv­ing to the poor etc.

Our view: No amount of our own works (dead works of the flesh) can make us ac­cept­able to God. Our works are like filthy rags (stinky, men­stru­al pads) to God. Only works gen­er­ated by the Holy Spir­it are ac­cept­able to God. (Isai­ah 64:6; Eph 2:8-10)

2. “All roads lead to God”

Our view: All roads, apart from Christ, lead to hell. Je­sus said, “He is the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the Fath­er (God) but through him” (John 14:6).

3. “There is no hell, or if there is one, it isn’t etern­al”

Our view: Je­sus said, “And these will go away in­to etern­al pun­ish­ment, but the right­eous in­to etern­al life” (Matt 25:46; 2 Thess 1:9; Matt 13:50).

4. “We can’t lose our sal­va­tion”

Re­sponse: There is no etern­al se­cur­ity apart from Christ. There is no sin in Christ. So to sin, we must step away and out­side of the se­cur­ity of Christ. Without Christ we can­not be saved. If we will­fully con­tin­ue in sin, we’re in danger of los­ing our sal­va­tion be­cause sal­va­tion is only found in Christ (John 15:4; 1 Tim 5:12; Rom 8:12-17; Heb 10:39; Matt 10:22, 24:13; 2 Tim 2:12; 1 Cor 15:1-2).

5. “Some sins are OK just as long as you do them in mod­er­a­tion”

Many Chris­ti­ans frown on some sins like for­nic­a­tion, but sweep ly­ing and ar­rog­ance un­der the rug. Our view: No sin is OK, the whole reas­on why the world is a mess is be­cause of sin (Rom 6:23; James 4:17;). But Je­sus died so that we may have life etern­al (John 3:16).
