In this sermon, I share the real reasons I believe porn use and sex dolls are on the rise in western culture and what to do about it.

The mainstream Christian’s reasons for porn and sex dolls up-rise in western society is usually centered around personal individual problems and weakness to reject the bait of the devil. I don’t completely agree with these answers because they don’t deal with the root problem.

First of all, while Christian religion has taught that sexual desire is sinful, this is not true. It’s only when those desires are forbidden do they become lusts. And even lust itself isn’t a sin, but will lead to sin if unchecked. Also, the Bible is silent on masturbation. Therefore, if sexual desire isn’t a sin, and neither is masturbation, watching people have sex on video isn’t a sin.

However, excessive masturbation and porn use is unhealthy and causes mental to physical sexual performance issues. And of course, people who append feelings to inanimate objects like sex dolls are probably harming themselves mentally. Taking that a step further and worshiping the doll is clearly idolatry and we all know how God feels about that (Leviticus 19:4).

Overall, while these things may be socially unacceptable and weird to some, they are not something I believe God will condemn a person over, aside from idolatry.

To be clear: I’m not promoting sex dolls, masturbation, and porn use. We promote patriarchy, marriage, and family.

The real reasons for porn and sex dolls

  • People are getting married too late
  • Sexual repression leads to porn use
  • Wives refuse to have sex with their husbands
  • Husbands have lost attraction for their wives
  • Men and women have become undesirable to each other
  • Married couples lack strong sexual desire for each other
  • People view porn because they’re starved for meaningful sex in their relationships
  • Satan, through gynocentrism and feminism has perverted the roles of men and women leading both genders to be sexually undesirable. Porn and sex dolls are a sedation and the result of failed relations between men and women

The solution

Men and women must reject the cultural lies about masculinity and femininity and return to God’s assigned genders roles. Then men and women will regain genuine sexual desire for each other and porn and sex dolls would become useless.
