Through who did you first hear the gospel message?

I thought it would be interesting to see where you first heard the clear, unadulterated gospel message. Through whom did God use to deliver that life changing message? Take the poll, see the results and share this with your friends.
If you’d like to share your conversion experience, do so in the comments.
I have had multiple experiences around this — the first being in 2007 when I was invited to a Christian coffee meetup. At the time, I was agnostic but believed in a greater force that was in charge of creation. The idea that the punishment for sin had already paid on my behalf resonated strongly and the gospel had immediate appeal. However, I became disappointed over time as I found that most of the people I saw in churches did not appear to really believe this. More typically I found that Christians had basically just created a new set of rules that was not really much different from the old Jewish law system.
More recently, I was introduced to Dynamic Love Ministries based out of South Africa (http://www.dynamicministries.com). The pastor, Bertie Brits, does a great job distinguishing the message of grace and the true gospel from the many false teachings that are still taught in churches to this day (e.g. the idea of “sowing and reaping” — that if you do not give 10% or more to the church, God will abandon you.) It wasn’t until I started to hear this teaching that I truly started to receive the gospel. Sadly, the gospel is hard to find in church, but I didn’t realize that before. Hopefully, that will change as more people awaken to the real message of Christ.
I haven’t had time to check out Dynamic Love Ministries, but I will.
