In this article we talk about the importance of being born again, how to be born again, what actually happens to a person, and how to discern whether or not someone is genuinely born again.

This is a follow-up message to the last article. The last point in the article addressed these Black Hebrew Israelite Judaizers who continue to preach that keeping the Law would bring about deliverance. What they fail to understand is that the Law was given to show us that we need the Spirit of God.

Likewise, the problem with most Black Hebrew Israelites is that they have yet to be born again and therefore lack the Spirit of God to live righteously. Some of them are in this state because they’re rebels of God and vessels of Satan setup to bind Israelites to the Law, while others are deceived because of false teachings—my message is to the latter.

Israel is like the valley of dry bones described in Ezekiel chapter 37

The result of not being born again

This is why the Black Hebrew Israelites are excluding white people and other nationalities from Salvation when scripture clearly includes everyone (1 John 2:1-2), and this is why they can’t seem to discard the Old and get with the New Covenant of the Most High.

This is why black people can be so unstable after discovering their true nationality—going half-crazy over revealed historical facts, binge reading every Apocrypha book they find, and being consumed with their roots rather than the God who planted them.

This is why they immediately join Hebrew groups without being careful to guard their souls against Satan who’s out in the wilderness like the Amalekites looking to rip them off as they travel to the Promised Land.

This is why they’re dropping their white wives and girlfriends, or their black wives of several years, all because “she’s doesn’t accept my new beliefs;” or picking up additional wives thus destroying their marriage over heritage. These people are void of the Spirit of God.

They lack His power to remain anchored in truth, secured in their relationships, and on the narrow road towards salvation. These people are desperately in need of the Holy Spirit, and he’s only available once they have been born again.

I can apply the same reasoning to the foolishness I see in the Christian Church—these people are not born again either! They claim to be followers of Christ, but they produce bad fruit (Matt 7:16-19), they have a form of godliness but deny his power (2 Tim 3:5).

These people (Jew and Gentile) are wicked, claiming to be brothers and sisters of my mine; and sons and daughters of my Father in heaven but having no real evidence, while actively persecuting the real saints of God showing themselves to be of children of the Devil! But not all of these people are agents of Satan, some have just been deceived, and those are who this message is addressed to.

The benefits and importance of the rebirth

Being reborn brings about the solution to every problem we have in our individual lives and as a collective. And with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit brings about the power to please the Most High.

Jesus said it plainly: he is the Vine and we are the branches. We can produce nothing of value on our own (John 15:5). We need to stay connected to the Vine, and the Spirit of God is that connection.

I just want to reiterate the importance of the rebirth and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Through the Spirit of God we get four things:

1. An understanding of the spiritual things of God

The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [understand] them, because they are spiritually discerned. (1 Corinthians 2:14)

So while some people can look at my article on why I can’t join the Black Hebrew Israelites and comment with such adversity, maybe it’s not me, perhaps it’s these people who can’t understand spiritual things because they’re void of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives us so much understanding of God, his Word, and the spiritual world around us.

2. Power over sin and Satan

You can’t overcome sin, your flesh, or Satan without the Spirit of God. You can’t please God without his help! How many cotton-picking times do I have to tell these stiff-necked Negroes this! If you could’ve kept the Law back then, you would have! But you are weak, and your pride denied you the ability to ask for divine help, and so you suffered because of your failure.

On the other side, I know too well the power of the Holy Spirit which keeps me from sin. I thank God for his strength because without it I’d be as nutty as many of these false brethren today!

3. Various spiritual gifts from God

If you want to heal people, perform miracles, cast out devils, prophesy, teach, interpret tongues, lead his flock and all that good stuff you need the Holy Spirit. Without him, you’re incapable of efficiently doing your job for the Lord.

Look at most of these awakened Israelite camps and churches today. They are void of the Spirit of God. There’s no healing, no prophecy, no miracles, no nothing. And if something looks like prophecy it’s probably divination, and I’d know so because the Spirit of God tells me so. The Spirit of God gives us discernment to distinguish the real from the fake! How awesome and vital is that!

4. Citizenship in the Kingdom of God

Jesus said, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again (John 3:3, 5-7).

So without the rebirth, we can never even see the Kingdom of God let alone live there. That’s harsh! But God is not allowing sinful flesh to enter into his holy Kingdom. He has to clean us up, and the rebirth is part of that cleansing.

So what is being born again all about?

Let me make this as simple as possible. Being born again is having the direct connection Adam (before the fall), and Jesus had to God through the spirit. Look at the spirit (little “s”) as a phone charger, and that charger is permanently connected to God (the power socket). Through that charger pumps the life of God and because it pumps the life of God, one becomes a child of God.

Before the rebirth, we were unplugged. We were all born as animated flesh, corrupted which the nature of Satan and sin. We were children of Satan by default. We were what the scriptures call “spiritually dead,” having no life of God, the walking dead—zombies (Ephesians 2:1-22).

Being born again is getting plugged up through confession and repentance of our sins in response to the gospel of Jesus Christ. The gospel message basically shows us that we’re spiritually dead, sinful offenders of God and worthy of eternal destruction, but Christ can change us and thus save us from that condition if we humble ourselves and allow him to do so.

The Holy Spirit determines if one is genuine in their repentance and submission to Christ for salvation. Once this happens, the Holy Spirit rebirths and indwells that person and they begin a new life.

How to tell if one is really born again

I’ve spoken about the evidence of rebirth here because I know mainstream Christianity doesn’t teach the true gospel and therefore creates tons of false converts. But here’s more on the evidence of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

The evidence of being born again is not the speaking of tongues as some mis-educated Pentecostals suggest because “the tongues” is a gift only given to some who the Spirit allows to have it (1 Cor 12:10, 29-30).

No, the evidence of the Holy Spirit is a changed attitude towards sin and a love for the righteousness of God. This shows up in behavior. Children of God act like their father. They are honest, humble, loving, respectful, kind, clean, etc.

Children of Satan act like their father. They are liars, arrogant, proud, selfish, disrespectful, unkind and unclean. Children of Satan will often mistreat, or cause some harm to the children of God, while children of God must learn to discern Satan’s seed and guard their hearts.

Real saints learn to see these “aints” (as some call them) for what they really are: false brethren, false Christians, and impostors impersonating as followers of Christ. They are spiritually discerned because the Spirit always reveals them.

The children of God may fall into sin, but they don’t practice sin, they hate sin. Children of Satan willfully sin, make an excuse for it, and never apologize or really change.

Children of Satan shift the blame for their sins because they refuse to confess that something is wrong with them; sending up a red flag that they never really accepted the gospel. Newsflash: The gospel is all about the defective sin nature of humankind which is why we need a Savior.

There’s a war in the souls of the children of God. A battle with their old fleshly nature (Romans 7:23). The Saints hate sin and want to conquer it in their lives, but there’s no war within the souls of the children of Satan. Satan’s kids are comfortable with their sins. They won’t let sin go because sin is who they are.

In contrast, the children of God hate the nature of Satan/sin in their souls and seek to overcome it and destroy it through the power of the Holy Spirit.

The new life is like fresh air, blue skies, fewer worries, and freedom in Christ

How to be born again

1. Fear and belief in God

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction (Proverbs 1:7).

Fear is all about respect and honor for God, not necessarily being fearful of God. When a person is at a place of reverence and respect for God, this is when they can hear from him. But many people are never converted because they are too far corrupted, and too proud to honor, and respect God. Therefore, they get nothing from God but delusion (2 Thess 2:11).

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16)

The next level is belief. A person must believe Jesus by obeying him. But his gospel is very offensive in that it calls out the sinfulness of our human hearts. This fact isn’t pleasant to most people because they’d like to believe they’re “good enough” apart from God, or that their own works, as in, keeping the Law, or, attending church, is sufficient. No, if these were sufficient we wouldn’t need the sacrifice of Christ.

The world also loves their sin more than righteousness and so they reject the true gospel of Christ for a false gospel which makes them feel good about their sinful state (John 3:19-21). But if a worldly person believes they are sinful, and in desperate need of the Savior, they’ll end up confessing and repenting of their sins.

2. Confession and repentance of sins

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9) Jesus said, “Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matt 3:2)

Confession and repentance are two different things and continue to happen throughout our lives as children of God, but this is one of the initial steps toward rebirth.

Confession is acknowledging that we are wrong and God is right.

Confession is acknowledging that we are wrong and God is right. Repentance is the turning from the sinful activity towards righteousness. If we are liars, confession would be admitting that lying is a sin in God’s sight. Repentance would be to stop lying and start telling the truth.

Once a person fears God in humility and obeys his Son by confessing and repenting of their sins, they can be born again. It’s up to the Holy Spirit to determine if the person is genuine in their faith, then he will rebirth them. You can know if you’re genuinely born again by the examples mentioned in the article here.

In this day in age, I’m learning that if I have to question a person’s “kingdom nationality” because of their behavior, I often soon discover that they weren’t born again. However, I’ve also had this instant ease in my spirit with some people on the first contact that are later verified to me through the Holy Spirit that they are brothers and sisters in Christ.

3. Ask Him

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? (Luke 11:13)

Lastly, just ask for the Holy Spirit. God knows you need him, but asking goes a long way in bringing about the rebirth.

Overall, being born again can’t be faked and, you can only do so much on your end to be regenerated. The Holy Spirit is the one who regenerates you, so if you’re genuine about your weakness towards sin, and you’ve come to terms with the wicked state of your soul, and seek the Savior for deliverance, you will be born again.
