Here we learn God’s intended roles for both genders, why it’s difficult to remain in our designated positions, and how Satan messed things up.
Last time we exposed who the real enemy of women was and his plan to take down both genders. We uncovered that it was the weakness in Eve, and every woman for that matter, that makes her a vital part of the enemy’s strategy.
That weakness is not being able to withstand charm, beguilement, or deception. While men can be deceived too, they’re not as easily manipulated by Satan as women are. The devil can project his thoughts, feelings, and will into humanity but women are more likely to be misled, if not protected.
Given this knowledge, once he has the mind of women, all Satan has to do is pressure the men to give in to his demands using the female; and he has successfully perverted that marriage, destroyed that family, and that society.
God could’ve made Eve mentally stronger or a more logical thinker like her husband; but why not? For that answer, we need to consult the Bible and review why the woman was formed, and what she really is.

The roles of men and women
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
15 And the LORD God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. (Genesis 2:7, 15, 18, 21-23)
We see that the woman was created to help the man fulfill whatever purpose assigned to him by God. For Adam, it was taking care of the garden.
We also see that the woman was not formed from the ground, but taken out of the man. I believe the part removed was femininity.
God said it wasn’t good for man to be alone. The word “alone” means all in one. Adam was all in one, both masculine and feminine, but God removed femininity and everything which had to do with it forming the woman.
So it’s important to note that males have no feminine side, that “side” was taken out when the Creator put Adam to sleep.
The female was pulled out and presented to Adam to accept or reject. We know he received her as his wife; and this is why, under the marriage covenant, God considers the husband and wife, to be one person; they’re basically two parts that make up one whole.
But why are women weaker?
Women are more vulnerable because they’re an extension of the men like twigs extending from a branch. The twig is easier to snap, but further back on the tree, its limbs are not so easily broken.
1 Corinthians 11:7 says the man is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of man. A good wife brings honor to the one she came from, man.
The man was formed from the dust of the ground. The woman was formed from the rib of the man. While both were made in the image of God, and have direct access to him through Christ, the woman was never designed to be the lead, but rather the assistant to the lead. So she’s naturally insufficient in the role of leader of the home or church because she wasn’t built for it. The positions are established once again:
12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. (1 Timothy 2:12-14)
So, does this make women unequal to men? No. Both were created in the image of God. Are women equally valuable and deserve the same love and respect as men? Yes. Are men and women the same? No.
Weak is defined as liable to break or give way under pressure; easily damaged. Some women try so hard to hide their frailty, but it’s true; women are weaker.
If women were the same as men, they could compete alongside them in sports. Let’s include women in the NFL and see how the players complain about their weakest link being regularly exploited.
Women were created to assist men, not lead them, or head the tasks of God apart from male leadership. Women were never designed to be alone, or act alone. Rather, receive instruction on what assistance is needed, obey those instructions, and support their husbands or fathers.
8 For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. 9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. (1 Corinthians 11:8-9)
“So I’m basically an unpaid slave to these men; cooking, cleaning and bearing children,” says the feminists.
No, you’re more accurately a “servant.” An integral part of the family unit, someone who’s loved, respected, valued and needed. But oh, how women despise this role.
Some wives will put time and a half in building another man’s corporation than supporting their own husbands’ endeavors.
Submission
A woman is practicing submission when she serves her husband or father. Submit, the dreaded S word of feminists, means to accept the authority or will of another. Here’s what the Bible says about it:
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. (Ephesians 5:22) Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. (Colossians 3:18)
If a husband’s will for his wife is to prepare a meal because he’s unable, due to his other tasks, she’s to carry out his will.
God has given the husband authority (the power or right to give orders, make decisions) to lead and command his wife in things regarding the work of God. The Bible outlines a chain of command:
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. (1 Corinthians 11:3)
Wife, mother, helper is a great position to be in (few women would agree); the woman gets to assist in the works of God alongside her husband.
While husbands and fathers have abused their position as leaders of women and stewards of God’s work, it doesn’t change the roles of males and females. But it’s this failure in men the devil uses as a reason for women to take men’s power and reverse the gender roles.
Taking advantage of man’s greatest weakness
Let’s not forget that scripture about women being the weaker vessel also implies that men are weak too (1 Peter 3:7). Men are weak because they were made to live plugged to the Creator, but while detached, a man slowly corrupts, becomes destructive, and good for nothing (John 15:6).
Therefore, the man is simply an extension of God, reliant on him for everything, and used as an instrument to grow and maintain the kingdom of God. And the woman is an extension of the man; never made to be separate or self-sufficient.
An “independent woman” is an oxymoron. That’s like saying, “I’m an independent arm, I don’t need nobody.”
Aside from those called to be single (Matthew 19:12), both men and women need each other to be successful, and so godly marriages are an essential part of a productive society.
Why Adam chose to rebel
So Satan went after the weakest of the two with the hopes that the man would follow suit; as he did. Adam wasn’t beguiled, so why did he choose to rebel? He wanted to please his wife. More importantly, he wanted to please himself. The woman was a part of him.
He said it himself, “this is bone of my bone, and flesh of my flesh” (Gen 2:23). Was Adam selfish? Not necessarily, but God was a spirit, and his wife was physically in front of him.
Given the novelty of the circumstances, who would you readily listen to, a spirit you can’t see, or someone physically in front of you? You’d probably follow the suggestion of your wife. And that’s how Satan caused the downfall of humanity.
She was a part of him; the most beautiful being in the world. She was and has been, the greatest weakness of men. And this is why Satan always deceives the woman first.
Adam and Eve were prohibited from eating the fruit, but through temptation, they disobeyed God, and the Lord served up the consequences.
The real reason women hate submission
Eating the forbidden fruit had consequences. Aside from immediate disconnection from God, they wouldn’t live forever. The first is the worse, and the second, no better; but it’s what God said would happen to the woman as a result of her disobedience that’s the trigger behind the entire Feminist movement:
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. (Gen 3:16)
“Your desire shall be for your husband;” what does that mean? After doing a word study (Genesis 4:7), we find the word “desire” to mean: rule over, dominate, and control.
So as a result of the woman eating the fruit, her natural inclination to submit to her husband was gone, now she desired to rule over her husband—this is why women hate submission or find it hard to do—sin leads us to act contrary to our original design.
The battle between men and women has everything to do with who’s going to submit to whom. If a man’s unaware of his proper place, he may end up subjugated, and therefore, useless for the kingdom of God.
If a man understands the proper order but doesn’t know how to deal with an unsubmissive wife, he may end up abusing her to enforce her obedience—men have done this for ages and it’s wrong.
Whereas righteous men take the matter to Jesus, and the Lord deals with the rebellion—real Saints understand the chain of command and don’t oppress, beat, or manipulate their wives into submission—they love and let God work on them.
Husbands, love your wives and be not bitter against them. (Colossians 3:19)
Now that we know God’s intended roles for both genders, why it’s difficult to remain in our designated positions, and the plans of Satan; both genders can stop fighting and face the real enemy. Up next, I’ll expose what happens when women continue to listen to the lies of Satan.
