The condition of blacks today and the paralleling curses in Deuteronomy 28 strongly suggest that black people are the physical descendants of Israel.
Early in 2015, in an effort to understand why black men, women, and children were being gunned down in the streets by police officers without justice; and why we, historically as a group, seem to be the least respected, most mistreated, economically depressed and downtrodden people on the planet, I began searching for answers. I ended up studying the bible and black history. I came across many historic and contemporary leaders and scholars who had answers and solutions many of which I don’t subscribe to.
For the record, I’m not one of these black men who believe the white man is responsible for every problem the black man has, nor am I of the camp that says, “black people just need to do better for themselves.” During my research, I’ve discovered that there are social and mental “systems” in place, that were designed to make it very, very difficult for black people to succeed in many areas of life.
At the same time, black people have choices and given the limited choices they are faced with, in their natural flesh, they usually choose the seemingly easier route which is usually the wrong route. I’m not going to talk about the “systems” here in this post, but the solution to destroying and overcoming these systems lies in spiritual rebirth and the infilling of the Holy Spirit of Jesus. Specifically, the Jesus found in the Bible, and not the mainstream Jesus the world has imagined him to be.
Now, back to my research.
One group I came across was the Black Hebrew Israelites. Their reasons as to why the black “race” is in this terrible state have been the strongest I’ve heard. Along with biblical evidence to back up their claims, they assert that most of the so-called black people in America are really the scattered nation of Israel.
After fleeing from their enemies into West Africa to blend in, blacks/Israelites were captured and sold all over the world as slaves. Their reason for the terrible plight of blacks is because Israel is and has been under the judgment of God. Basically, Israel rejected and rebelled against God, rejected the Messiah, and God allowed all these “curses” to fall on them.
When you read about Israel in your bible (from Genesis to Revelation) you’re reading about most of the modern day black men, women, and children you see in America and others across the globe.
When you look at some of the Black Hebrew Israelites proof scriptures, which we’ll talk about later, it makes you really think; and until anyone can prove these assertions wrong, I tend to believe that the blacks in America are really Israelites. I’m not necessarily about to change my name and move to Israel or hang out with the ones here, but this gives blacks a nationality and a heritage as opposed to being simply associated with the landmass of Africa.
All people groups in America and around the globe know where they come from even those from the continent of Africa. I’ve heard Nigerians get offended if you call them “African Americans” because it implies they have no country or nation within the landmass of Africa.
Everyone else knows what specific country they come from except the black man. After my own research into these claims by the Black Hebrew Israelites, I believe that most black people are the scattered Israelites who had their language, heritage and nationality stripped from them by other enemy nations (as Psalms 83:2-8 eludes to).
A good book I read and recommend in your own research is “From Babylon to Timbuktu, by Rudolph R. Windsor” (download it here) which chronicles the origins of different people groups specifically the so-called black races.
I agree with the Black Hebrew Israelites assertion that blacks in America and the others scattered across the globe are really the children of Israel. Deuteronomy 28:46 talks about how these curses will identify the people of Israel, “they shall be upon thee as a sign” as it says. In other words, you can know who is who by their condition.
I don’t believe any other people on the earth match the curses in Deuteronomy chapter 28 like the African-American, Negro/Black. Some Black Hebrew Israelites groups include Native Americans, Mexicans and other “brownish” nations into the mix, but I don’t know about these other people, I can only look at my own and see the proof in our condition.
The Curses
I want to briefly define what a curse and a blessing is when it’s coming from God. A curse from God is him simply saying something bad is going to happen as a result of some sin. Likewise, a blessing is God saying something good is going to happen as a result of righteousness. Because God cannot lie, his words always come true.
An example: a man commits fornication, the curse could be sexually transmitted diseases, a scattered soul, shame, emotional hurt, children out of wedlock etc. Another example is: a man stops honoring God and the curse plays out as a loss of favor on his job.
Even if bad things seem to happen to a person walking in righteousness, these things will actually work out for his good because God says, “All things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28). In simple terms, if we love God and obey him, we’ll be blessed, if not, we’ll be cursed.
Deuteronomy chapter 28 talks about the blessings the Most High will bestow on his chosen nation Israel if they obey him and the curses if they don’t. Let’s look at some of these curses:
The LORD shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish. (Deuteronomy 28:22)
A consumption comes from the word “emancipation.” This means to be very skinny likely from a disease and/or starvation. Look at some of the Israelites in Africa and you can see this. The top sicknesses and diseases among blacks are HIV/AIDS, diabetes, asthma, sarcoidosis, lung cancer, stroke, high blood pressure, and cancer.
Blacks are the highest in sexually transmitted diseases with chlamydia (which is among other things inflammation), gonorrhea (which is a burning in men, and an inflammation in women), syphilis (sores on genitals, mouth, anus).
And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron. (Deuteronomy 28:23)
This refers to being trapped and transported in cages as our ancestors were: bars on the top (heaven) and bars at the bottom (earth).
The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth. (Deuteronomy 28:25)
This happened many times before Christ as seen in the Old Testament records, but even after Christ, the children of Israel were scattered throughout the world by their enemies.
Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build an house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof. (Deuteronomy 28:30)
Black men had their wives raped and stolen from them by white slave masters. They built most of America, yet didn’t reap any of the benefits. The wealth they did accumulate after freedom was often stolen or destroyed by opposing nations. Back in Tulsa Oklahoma (the year 1921), there was something known as the Race Riot better described as a massacre. This was an event where blacks, after slavery, had built their own Wall Street, became very wealthy; and white people found a way to literally come in and steal all the wealth and kill most of the blacks in those towns. To this day there’s been no justice (see the story here).
Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them. (Deuteronomy 28:31)
Again, this is in line with before and after slavery. Every time blacks unified and got ahead financially, they had their wealth stolen from them and it has yet to be returned.
Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long: and there shall be no might in thine hand.(Deuteronomy 28:32) Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity. (Deuteronomy 28:41)
Black families were split up during slavery and it’s still happening today through the “systems”, one in particular called the “prison industrial complex.” Pretty much a system by where black men are given jail time that doesn’t fit the crime so that corporations can take advantage of their labor in prison.
The fruit of thy land, and all thy labours, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed always. (Deuteronomy 28:33)
This is, again, slavery: working on the fields but another nation (white Americans) reaping the benefits. Even after slavery, blacks are oppressed and crushed constantly — socially and economically.
The LORD shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone. (Deuteronomy 28:36)
Black Americans serve all kinds of false gods as a result of being rebellious, away from home and without an identity. A great percentage serve Allah (the moon god) in the Nation of Islam. If not that, they pledge to false gods in fraternities and sororities, they practice Judaism, Roman Catholicism (and the gods behind that), and even pagan-protestant Christianity (which is a derivative of Roman Catholicism).
And thou shalt become an astonishment [horror], a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee. (Deuteronomy 28:37)
Blacks have truly become a thing of horror, at least that’s what the police keep saying every time they gun down unarmed black men. We have become bywords and proverbs. There are so many nigger joke sites out there, it’s hilarious. Google it if you aren’t easily offended.
The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low. (Deuteronomy 28:43) He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail. (Deuteronomy 28:44)
Asians and Arabs don’t live in black neighborhoods but many have businesses within them in which they extract the majority of the money out. So in reality, they are more prosperous as strangers in black communities than the residents themselves.
For instance: The Asians take over the majority of the hair care retail stores and the Arabs own and operate a great portion of the gas stations, cell-phone, liquor and check cashing spots.
European or Arab people are lending to us, but we are not lending to them. And as a result of our poor economic state (owning only one ½ of 1% of the wealth in this country), the majority of us are in debt along with bad credit. Yet we have one trillion dollars in spending power! Something doesn’t add up. Perhaps a curse? We truly are the tail and not the head.
Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee. (Deuteronomy 28:48)
This was slavery once again. A yoke of iron was placed upon each slave’s neck.
The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; (Deuteronomy 28:49)
That nation as swift as the eagle sounds like America. Isn’t her symbol an eagle?
And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone. (Deuteronomy 28:64)
And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind: (Deuteronomy 28:65)
Once again, blacks were shipped all over the globe through the Transatlantic Slave Trade. Blacks back then and now “know no ease.” It’s hard for us, economically and socially, anywhere we go in life.
I want to make mention that the word “scatter” is used by the Lord many times. This not only means that the nation wouldn’t be collected in one place, but also that there would be a lack of unity among us. It’s hard to get blacks to unify because of these curses.
Obviously, there are many blacks in America and across the globe doing pretty well, but there seems to be a limit to their success; a glass ceiling that can’t be penetrated. They can only own so much and obtain so much power. Below them is the great majority of their brothers and sister living in poverty, homelessness or from paycheck to paycheck (whether they receive high or low wages).
Because of the state of the black man/family as a whole, I have to conclude that these curses show us to be the true people of Israel. No other people group is at the bottom like us and certainly not the people in the State of Israel who claim to be Jews (I’ll get to them in a minute).
The bottom line is: the majority of Israel continues to sin and therefore doesn’t have the blessing of God. They have not taught their children the ways of God and so they continue to do the same thing.
The blessing of God can also be seen as a shield from all the unfortunate circumstances of a sinful world; and the demonic forces who wait to destroy souls through the open door of sin. When certain Israelites walk in righteousness they’re blessed and protected from the evils of this sinful world.
But why do blacks seem to be hit with the worse of the curse? What I mean is: when blacks folks fall into sin they tend to fall hard. Actually, black folks are in an even worse condition than during the Civil Rights Movement. Is this because black people sin more than other nations? Not necessarily. The answer to this is found in the same chapter, verses 58 and 59.
If you refuse to obey all the words of this law, the things written in this scroll, and refuse to fear this glorious and awesome name, the LORD your God, then the LORD will increase your punishments and those of your descendants — great and long-lasting afflictions and severe, enduring illnesses … (Deu 28:59 NET).
Correct me if I’m wrong, but it seems to suggest that the intensity of the curse is compounded each generation. So for each generation who practices the same sin, the consequences are even worse. For example, grandma practices witchcraft. The curse earned her 8 demons, 2 miscarriages and bitterness, and unforgiveness. Her great-granddaughter, due to hatred of men and fatherlessness, decides to use witchcraft to cope. The curse earns her 32 demons, bitterness and unforgiveness, and an inability to produce children.
Just an example, but it can be the reason why some of us are so in bondage to sin. Sin is really not good for black people. The consequences are compounded each time.
As a chosen people, we are held to a higher standard. We’re under a covenant with God and when we break it, we experience the consequences. He didn’t make a covenant with the Edomites, or the Egyptians etc. Therefore other nations don’t get spanked as hard as God’s own people. Some say the curses and blessings apply to born again people of God as well whether or not they’re Israelites—that I don’t know. At the end of the day, repentance will clear up all this mess.
Judgment
While many gentile nations took advantage of the slave trade and joined the Europeans in kicking Israel while she was down; and continue to benefit from the systems put in place to keep the yoke of bondage on the Israelite, they will be judged even though God allowed their wicked deeds to go unpunished for so long.
While slavery/servitude is allowed by God, there are laws that state how you are to treat a slave. To say that the rulers of this country went a little overboard is a huge understatement. The bottom line is: God saw it all and it will be judged. In the old testament, there are many cases of God allowing one nation to punish Israel and then turning around and judging that same nation for the harsh mistreatment of Israel (please read Jeremiah 8:11-14 for more understanding).
Finally, when they tell you to bless Israel so God can bless you, perhaps you should start praying for the people in the ghettos of American cities.
Wake up Israel
Why doesn’t Israel know who they are?
Jeremiah 17:1-4 and Psalms 83:1-4 reveal that part of Israel’s punishment was losing knowledge of their heritage (nationality, language, customs, lifestyle, etc.).
The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron, and with the point of a diamond: it is graven upon the table of their heart, and upon the horns of your altars; 2 Whilst their children remember their altars and their groves by the green trees upon the high hills. 3 O my mountain in the field, I will give thy substance and all thy treasures to the spoil, and thy high places for sin, throughout all thy borders. 4 And thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from thine heritage that I gave thee; and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the land which thou knowest not: for ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn forever (Jeremiah 17:1-4).
This verse reveals that God (as punishment) would discontinue Judah from their heritage; this means to get rid of their nationality.
1 Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. 2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. 3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. 4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance (Psalm 83:1-4).
The verse reveals that the enemy nations, while not able to destroy Israel, conspired to erase Israel’s nationality; and God allowed it as punishment.
What about the people who live in Israel today?
As I briefly stated, I don’t believe the Jews of European descent are biblical Israelites for a few reasons:
- Their lifestyle doesn’t align with God’s covenants
- The star of Satan as their national flag
- DNA evidence
- The Bible exposes these people as impostors

Overall, I identify as a follower of Christ because there is neither Jew or Gentile in Christ (Gal 3:27-29). And I believe that blacks (real Israelites) have to unify under the righteousness of Jesus Christ and repent of their sins, be born again and filled with the Spirit of God in order to be saved and rise above the state I believe GOD allowed them to be in.
No unity around economics will save us, no political action will work, no amount of violence or retaliation against white people will work. Black Americans need to wake up, humble themselves, repent of their sins and begin the journey toward reconciliation with a loving God who’s waiting for them to come back.
So we’re in the same place as every other nation on this planet, we need a savior and it’s still Jesus the Messiah.

Deuteronomy 28:23 In the Bible it refers to brass over the head and iron under the feet as being a famine and they point to 2Kings 6:23 as a reference. Please, help my understanding.
You can interpret it in different ways. The bottom line is: it’s a curse whether it’s being caged and shackled or without food because the ground won’t produce. Both interpretations can be correct. Scripture/prophecy can have multiple meanings.

You say that many blacks had began to praise false gods and also you included Judaism. However, Jesus was also a Jew and in order to say that Judaism is a false religion, then half of the bible (the Old Testament) would be false destroying the basis of Christianity. Not only that but the lord our God says that we shall follow his laws statutes and judgements forever. When Jesus would speak to the children of Israel he would constantly say keep the commandments (the laws and statutes given in the Old Testament). Furthermore Paul was also a Jew. As a black Jew I believe that you have no right in saying that we are a false religion excluding the fact that your religion was once part of Judaism and your savior was also a Jew.

Don’t be so quick to comment without thinking about what you’re accusing me of saying. You’re wrong in your comprehension of this article. Obviously I’m not referring to what Jesus/Yeshua, Paul or any of the ancient Israelites practiced then or now. That’s not Judaism and was never called Judaism.
When I speak of Judaism, I’m talking about the idolatry and what the Pharisees and other sects of Israel picked up over the years from other nations like Babylon, including various forms of mysticism, magic, the kabbalah and the studies of the Talmud—this is all included within Judaism—and practiced mostly by the counterfeit European Jews. But some awakened black Israelites practice it too.
Very much this is truth. Judaism is not what Yah gave to Moses. It is that which Jesus vehemently spoke out in opposing satan, the pharisees and sadducees. It is mysticism which leads to bondage. The words Jesus spoke are spirit and life and has power to set men free from sin.
This article was very well written and appreciated though very painful to read. Deuteronomy 28 is absolutely undeniable as being about us. As a child we were taught that it didn’t apply to blacks but rereading it with adult eyes and an adult worldview I see it for what it is. I have always loved history especially Black history. I read Malcolm X, Marcus Garvey, Martin Luther King…Roots (lol) Books about Africa, Native Americans and most importantly the Bible. This book I have been reading since before I could form the words.
In crying out to God about my people I asked Him Why must we suffer like this?
He said, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
I belonged to a black church and attended a white church they were both completely segregated and totally out of touch with the world or just wanted to escape from the world for a few hours. Nobody was addressing the huge elephant of racism and killings. It was a place of escapism and I wanted some answers.
I did a lot of reading and research and God was opening my eyes to a lot of truth.
I found out that we are the Hebrews but I am a Christian also. I don’t have any problems of being a Christian and Hebrew it actually enhanced my relationship with God. I do have a problem finding a church.
I can’t go back to the same old mind numbing sermons. How can I find a Hebrew Christian church that will instruct me. I went to my old black church and I honestly felt like jumping and shouting awake everyone …..DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!!!
Hi Bridge, thanks for your comment. I agree with you on being around so-called Christians who won’t deal with racism and black people who don’t know who they are. It can be frustrating. I only know of one traditional church as of now that’s “Christian” and awake to Hebrew heritage and that’s Destined Ministries in Louisville Kentucky under Pastor Darby. You can see his videos on Youtube. I don’t endorse his ministry, nor do I follow it anymore.
I agree with everything you said about the khazars. In the service today the pastor was boasting about how the khazar jews are blessed because freed them. Then he was going on about how the khazars are powerful because God has always been with them. It was very difficult to sit through that service and digest what my pastor was saying it also annoys me how he at times refers the Hebrews as Jewish. I think the institute that i go to are confused between Judaism and a nation (Judah)

Worse, none of these black churches, especially the mega ones…even broach the topic. Almost feels like being trapped in the Matrix. Ever since I found this information I have been completely isolated. The people whom I shared it with are either in complete denial or are aware but strayed in other ways. (One of the first people to tell me about this was a muslim for example) I don’t really know what to do with this information. At first I tried my best to uphold the law to the best of my abilities, but at the same time after constantly failing I had to admit indeed that I am under grace not the law. What should I do with this information? Should I join one of the Isrealite camps? (Who often seem completely crazy to me). Should I keep it in my head? (Since nobody seems to have a stomach for truth). At some point I have to question whether this information is relevant to salvation. Because only faith in Christ can save us. But I noticed that Black athiests might be more willing to convert if they are informed about this. So I figured this information can help further the gospel in that way. But it does hurt to be without any kind of fellowship.
Hi Peter, the truth isn’t for everyone. Count yourself blessed to have your eyes opened and don’t try so hard to get others to understand, this is spiritually understood. God is slowly waking up his people, but in his timing.
All you can do now is be led by the Spirit of God as you seek his kingdom—this means conforming to the image of Christ (Romans 8:28-29). Follow the teachings of Jesus and let the Spirit of God transform you. God bless.
So where do white men who are followers of Christ and who also support that Jesus and the true Jewish people were most likely dark skinned. As it describes in the Bible brown skin and wooly hair.
To me its common sense considering the geographical region let alone history if one does their research.
My studies brought me to believe that Mary was more an Etheopean decent region.
